Hayley Orrantia, she is an American actor, singer and songwriter. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". She is, however, a music lover. Music, according to her, is the very first thing she is passionate about. She started playing with the instrument at the age of nine. When she was 12 years old, music was taken seriously enough that she began professionally trained. The year 2013 saw her take on songwriting and produced her debut album. From then on she's not looked back. Orrantia was born in the USA but has Hispanic roots. She's proud of the fact that she has Hispanic roots, although she was raised speaking English exclusively and has never lived in Mexico. Through studying Spanish and writing songs she strives to preserve the tradition. The singer recorded an Spanish version of a song, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for The X Factor's first season in the summer of 2011. Orrantia had been selected by a panel of YouTube videos and got four "yeses," from judges at Seattle during live audition phase. While she auditioned initially on her own during "Hollywood Week", she and three other female singers, were placed in an ensemble for the remainder of the auditions. Live shows were staged during the week of 5th.
