Hayley Orantia is an American actress, musician and singer. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". She considers herself to be the best musician of all. When she was nine years old of age, she was dabbling into music. At the age of 12, her music began to take an adolescent turn and she started training professionally. At the age of 13, she started writing herself songs. The album that she first released didn't come out until 14 years later. And the rest is history. Orrantia, born in America, has Hispanic roots. She's proud of the existence of Hispanic origins, even though she was raised using English exclusively and has never lived in Mexico. Her goal is to preserve the culture by writing Spanish songs and studying the language. 'Hasta Verte' a song she composed in Spanish is an example of this. Orrantia was chosen to be an audition for the X Factor's inaugural season during the summer of 2011. Orrantia got 4 "yeses" to the judges in the Seattle live audition stage after having been selected from her YouTube video submission. Her initial audition was for solo performance, but during the "Hollywood Week" she was put together with three female singers into a trio for the remainder of the auditions. The group was eliminated at the 5th week during the live show.
