Ina Gardner is writer of a number of famous American cookbooks on cooking. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network, which began in 2002. Ina began her writing career by with nuclear energy policy and budgets of the White House. Although she initially found it interesting, she soon became bored. She then bought a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food retailer. After more than 18 years of making her store a huge success, she sold it, and then began writing her first book. There were many more cookbooks, and magazines columns that were added. Meanwhile, her Food Network show was also a success. She also sells a range of product from cooking ingredients as well as storage containers and equipment. Ina she has not attended any cooking school, nor had a job in a restaurant. She is completely self-taught. She is an easy cook, and also for her entertaining cooking style. The most well-known recipes she has created are Lemon chicken skeillet-roasted as well as Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon, the Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
