Lindsey Vonn is an American skier, born 18 October 1984. She retired in 2010 after having won the four World Cup races and the Olympic gold medal for downhill skis. Vonn has the second-highest Super Score among skiers, male and female. Hers is among the greatest skiers in history as well as the most adored skiing athlete in the United States. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn competes for the US Ski Team. She has taken home in the total World Cup competition four times. She is among the most popular athletes in American time. She is only one of six female athletes to win every event of the World Cup circuit. In total, she's won more than the 82 World Cup titles. In the wake of the World Championships that took place in Sweden this year, one of the top and most accomplished ski racers in America will be retiring. A string of health problems led this four-time World Cup Overall Champion to decide that she would retire. The former World Cup overall champion announced her retirement via social media. The World Championships for Downhill and SG Re Sweden will mark my last races at Re Sweden.
