Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights activist, author as well as a model and actress. Ali MacGraw is well-known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. New York was her home and she was brought up in an environment that was artistic. She started as a photographic assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. She won the Golden Globe Award in 1990 because she was a promising young actress. MacGraw's movie Love Story was an international success, earning her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. With just three releases MacGraw was named the top female box-office start in the world. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature, hand-prints and foot prints in 1972. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television series The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography by her, was published. MacGraw was married to three individuals.
